WHO WE ARE
The Pleasantdale Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an independent and private nonprofit organization comprised of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to enrich opportunities for the students of Pleasantdale School District 107. Membership is open to any parent, guardian, or faculty member of Pleasantdale.

WHAT WE DO
The PTO manages and funds a variety of initiatives each year to develop, enhance, and support Pleasantdale students and teachers in all aspects of the school environment. PTO Board members, including the Executive Board and dozens of Committee Chairs, collectively work with hundreds of parent volunteers, administrators, teachers and staff members throughout the school year. Together we offer numerous programs to positively impact the learning environment.

The PTO collects dues from parents at the beginning of the school year. These funds stay within our own school district.
In addition, fundraising is a key responsibility of the PTO, and a variety of fundraisers are held throughout the school year. Past events have included Adult Trivia Night, Kids Fun Run and Adult Casino Night.
Funds are also raised on an ongoing basis during the school year, through programs such as the Amazon Smile, Spirit Wear, book fairs and Pleasantdale Eats. The proceeds of all these fundraisers are then invested directly back into our school building, property, and curriculum.

GET INVOLVED
The Pleasantdale PTO welcomes the involvement of all parents–it makes many school programs possible. The efforts of parents truly enhance the culture of our school and the educational experience for our children. You’ll find ways to help during the school day as well as from home–there’s something to fit every schedule.
